Tropica Island Resort is partnering with Kate Ifould from Furniture Partners for their upcoming resort upgrades. Renowned for her design expertise and commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, together they will be introducing bespoke furniture pieces that elevate comfort and style whilst reimagining their spaces through a contemporary lens. This partnership marks an exciting step forward as they continue to refine our guest experience and elevate Tropica’s unique sense of place. And of course, their signature Fijian warmth and personalized service will remain at the heart of every stay.
Restaurant & Bar Upgrade
Their signature restaurant, Lakalaka, will soon unveil a stunning new look, featuring an upgraded breakfast buffet and refreshed furnishings. The much-loved Lakomai Bar will also be revitalized with an elegant new design—further enhancing the ambience for pre-dinner drinks, shared plates, and relaxed evenings by the water.
Combined with their world-class cuisine and romantic island setting, these enhancements will elevate the dining experience their guests already love.
Tropica will reopen on the 1st April 2026, with 3 room categories over 28 rooms.
