The holiday season is just right around the corner, and with that comes lots of holiday cheer, stress from planning the perfect party, and the dreaded cold weather. Here’s a topic of conversation that will make you and your loved ones forget the stress and smile from ear to ear: summer vacation!

Yes, that’s right. Planning for summer travel should happen around this time to make sure you get the timing, accommodations, and flights you want. And quite honestly, what could be better than thinking about Fiji right now? We’ll spend some time in the next few weeks profiling some excellent resort options around Fiji so you can work on booking that summer vacation now.

A great option is the Lomani Island Resort located in the Mamanuca group of islands, which are located offshore west of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu. The Mamanucas are known for their white sand beaches and abundant sea life. The adults-only resort is hidden in the tropical gardens of Malolo Island. The island used to be home to a copra plantation. Therefore, it is very proud to showcase its thousands of towering coconut palms, along with frangipani, hibiscus, and bougainvillea flowers. “Lomani” is the Fijian word for love, and you’ll certainly have a lot of those feelings when you get to this idyllic place.

Accommodations

 Lomani Interior

With only 24 rooms, Lomani offers plenty of space to stretch out and keep yourself in seclusion. Beachfront Bures are located just steps from the pristine beach and have custom-made mahogany wood furnishings, private outdoor showers, and large sundecks that overlook Malolo Lailai bay. The sliding doors open up to your very own private deck with stunning views of the beach and ocean.

The Deluxe Suites are located in a double-story building, all featuring outstanding views of the bay. Each suite consists of a separate bedroom area with a four-poster king bed with a living room and a private patio or balcony (depending on the level you are on).

The Hibiscus Suites are the most spacious at Lomani. They are single-story duplex suites with a lounge and bedroom area that features a California king bed that looks out onto the Pacific Ocean. The suites also have private outdoor showers (in addition to private indoor showers) and a private patio sundeck to make your stay a wonderful experience.
