To achieve this special atmosphere, Matamanoa Island Resort has adopted a year round policy of not permitting day-trippers or children under the age of 16 years.

Location

Matamanoa Island Resort is located on Matamanoa Island in the Mamanuca Group, 30 kilometers west of Nadi International Airport.

How To Get There

Arrive at Matamanoa Island Resort by scheduled 1 ½ hours launch transfer operated by South Sea Cruises from Port Denarau. There are two high speed catamarans The Tiger IV or Cheetah that departs from Port Denarau twice daily beginning at 9.00am and 12.15pm. Transfer time may vary depending on departure time as routes differ.
Island Hoppers provides air transfers and it takes approximately 15 minutes and it depart either from Nadi International Airport or Denarau. Departure times are notified 24 hours prior to travel.
Mamanuca Express and Ocean Charters offer a water taxi services during day light only, approximate time 45 minutes and departs from Denarau Marina.
Launch & Air Transfers are subject to weather conditions.

Notes and Information

Wet Landing
Matamanoa Island Resort does not have a jetty on the island. Clients need to be prepared for a “Wet Landing” i.e. upon reaching the resort via the resort’s tender they will be required to step in to the water (level would be between knees and  ankles) and walk to the shore.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 60 days of check in will incur a charge of 3 nights’ accommodation will result in 100% of the total booking amount.

Amendments within 7 days of check in will incur a charge of 3 nights’ accommodation.
