Enjoy Fiji’s Unspoiled Honeymoon Paradise in Namale
It’s easy to see why Namale Resort & Spa in Savusavu, located on Vanua Levu, is one of Oprah’s favorite places—and a favorite of honeymooners around the world, too. We love Namale Resort & Spa because newly married couples can really go off the grid in the north, where you truly see unspoiled Fiji.
Unspoiled, Authentic Northern Fiji
Some may not know that the north is one of the most exotic and lush areas of Fiji. The rainforests coupled with beautiful beaches make the north a unique, authentic destination, especially for a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon experience.
The five-star luxury boutique resort is owned by Tony Robbins, award-winning author and life coach, who designed the resort to reverse the stress of the world.
“My work is helping people get back to their authentic selves,” said Robbins.
“We live on an artificial clock now, a 24/7 schedule where work never leaves you.”
Namale will help you reverse all of that stress. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, you really will feel like you’re in your own world.
Whether you’re an active couple or just want to relax, Namale has the best of both. Enjoy dreamy views of the Koro Sea, lounge in the honeymoon bure with a private plunge pool, relax in the award-winning spa, enjoy private dinners anywhere you want, wander through the rainforest, stretch out on the beach, and explore the numerous activities at the resort.
No Two Accommodations Are Alike
With 525 acres of lush foliage, Namale has only 19 villas and bures and five different levels of accommodations: honeymoon bures, garden tropical bures, ocean tropical bures, one-bedroom villas, and the dream house. No two are alike. With a staff of 140, about three employees to every one guest, Namale will spoil you and your significant other with personal attention.
Bures have authentic Fijian wood furnishings, a bedroom with fine linens, a sitting area with a fully stocked refreshment center, and a bathroom with sliding glass doors that open to a private deck. Each comes fully stocked with a minibar, coffee, tea, snacks, and Pure Fiji brand shower amenities along with hairdryers, robes, make-up mirrors, and a great selection of music.
Private paradise awaits you in the honeymoon bure. This mansion for honeymooners at Namale is built on grand lava pinnacles and showcases stunning beach views. Three of the five Honeymoon bures boast an outdoor area offering a private deck complete with your own plunge pool. Each bure also has a spa tub and shower for two along with its own oceanfront deck where you can take in the breeze.
If you’re considering having your wedding at Namale as well as your honeymoon, you may like the one-bedroom villas and ultra luxe bula house, consisting of a main house with a guesthouse and private bures. These are located among rock formations, as well.
Nestled amid the tropical rainforest, each garden tropical bure has a shower for two and a private deck. In the ocean tropical bure, you’ll get the best of both worlds, viewing the ocean and the tropical grounds of Namale. Each of the four bures has a shower and bath for two extending out into a deck with private beach access by stairs.
Enjoy Meals Anywhere
Private three-course lunches and five-course with fresh Indo-Fijian ingredients can be enjoyed anywhere you like. All meals are included in the price. Namale also offers cocktail hours and an extensive wine collection. Your meal can be served in a cave, on the beach at sunset, or in your private bure, to name a few options. The chefs at Namale will also cater to your dietary needs.
Adventure & Relaxation
There’s so much to do here that we can’t possibly name it all. Go exploring on horseback to find a hidden waterfall. Snorkel or scuba dive in the Koro Sea. Wander through the pristine rainforests of northern Fiji. Or sample the activities at the resort, including waterskiing or kneeboarding with a professional instructor at no cost, bowling, nine-hole golf, and more.
The award-winning Spa & Sanctuary at Namale is the best in Fiji and has some of the most dramatic vistas. From the huge bay windows in the spa, you look straight over the Koro Sea, where blowholes capture your attention. You’ll forget all your worries instantly under the care of the kind Fijian staff.
Favorites are the “Sunset Bliss,” where your 90-minute couples massage ends just before sunset, allowing you and your partner to enjoy champagne and hors d’oeuvres on a private deck, and the “Moonlight Magic” package, which includes everything above plus full private use of the amazing hydrotherapy room.
It’s relatively easy to get to Namale from Nadi airport. You just take a short flight up north, and the resort will pick you up and off to paradise you go!
